Landowner’s commitment to invest
All appendices are in Finnish.
The wire/pipeline/structure to be built must have the landowner’s consent to be located. The application must be submitted well in advance of the intended start of work. No work shall commence until the Siting Permit has been issued and the Street Work Notice has been processed and the resulting Street Work Orders issued.
Legally, the investment commitment is based on §161-163 of the Land Use and Building Act and §229 of the Information Society Act.
The consent of the municipality of Siilinjärvi is given by:
- in the general area of zoning areas: Technical Services Department/Municipal Engineering
- for the rest of the municipality’s land: the Department of Vitality and Corporate Services /Land Use.

Land use charges for investment
Public areas:
According to § 161 and § 163 of the Land Use and Building Act and § 229 of the Information Society Code, no fees are charged for the placement of permanent wires, structures and equipment in public areas.
Outside the zoning area:
Outside the zoning area, a fee is charged in accordance with the Business and Corporate Services Department’s price list.
There is no fee for processing the application.
