Building Control Office
The building control office is located at Oppipojantie 4 (the same building as the technical services office).
The customer and telephone service hours of the Building Control Manager and the Building Permit Engineers are on Mondays and Thursdays from 9.00 to 10.30 and 13.30 to 15.30.
The customer and telephone service hours of the Building Control Service Secretaries are Mon-Fri 8.00 – 10.30 and 11.30 – 14.00.
The application for a building permit is primarily made via e-services. Click here for Building permits and applications. Follow the instructions to create a username or log in if you have used the permit service before.
Paper applications for building permits and other permits with supporting documents should be submitted to Oppipojanantie, Oppipojantie 4, postal address Building Control Office, P.O. Box 5, 71801 Siilinjärvi.
Building permit decisions are made on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month except July.
The processing time for applications is usually around 1 month.
