STANDARD BADMINTON SHIFTS IN TOIVALA
The application period for the spring 2026 standard badminton shifts ends on Monday 8.12.2025. The shifts will be drawn by lot, price 50 € / h / season.
Use of the Vuorela padel and booking guide
Reservations for the padel court are made through the Julius reservation system of the municipality of Siilinjärvi.
To use the booking system, you need to register the first time, when you create a user profile.
You can book one hour playing time on the field Mon – Sun from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The maximum booking time for one group is 2 hours. Slots can be booked 8 days in advance.
The fee for using the padel court is €14 per hour.
From 1.7. onwards, you pay online at the time of booking.
The padel field is in the responsibility of the Siilinjärvi Municipal Sports Services

Pickleball courts in Vuorela
The Vuorela rink has three pickleball courts for free use. Padel and pickleball equipment can be borrowed from the Vuorela library during the library’s opening hours (note: also return within the opening hours), Vuorela library is open Mondays 12 – 18 and Tuesdays – Fridays 9 – 15. Equipment must be returned immediately after use, borrowing time = playing time. Patrons can also borrow equipment during self-service hours.
Booking instructions for the skatepark
The skatepark booking will be made through the Julius online booking calendar. You can book eight (8) days in advance for a fee of €30 per hour. To reserve a slot, you must be registered in the Julius system. After creating a user profile/registration you will be able to book shifts. Payment for the shift is made at the time of booking.
One-hour shifts can be booked Mon – Sun 8 – 22.
No half-hour gaps should be left between reservations in order to maximise the use of the hall.
The aim of the change is to increase the use of the hall and offer access to a wider range of people.
For minors, reservations must be made by an adult guardian. The guardian is responsible for the minor’s shift.
