Tennis
Reserving a court at the Ahmo tennis courts
The Ahmo sports area has two red gravel pitches and one asphalt pitch. The tennis courts in Ahmo will not be allocated standard courts for the 2025 summer season. Reservations for the tennis courts will be made via the Julius electronic booking calendar. You can book 8 days in advance for a fee of €6 per hour. To reserve a court, you must register in the Julius system. After creating a user profile, you will be able to book shifts. Payment is made when you book a shift.
You can book one-hour tee times Mon – Fri 7.00 – 22.00, Sat – Sun 9.00 – 22.00.
The maximum booking time for one group is 2 hours.
No half-hour gaps should be left between bookings to maximise the use of the pitches.
The aim of the change is to increase the use of the pitches and offer a wider range of people access to them.

The Harjamäki and Tarinaharju asphalt pitches and the Vuorela rink asphalt (plexipave surface) pitches are free of charge and can be used without booking a shift.
There is one asphalt field in the area of the Tarinaharju hospital.
There is one asphalt tennis court in the Harjamäki area (surface condition fair). In the same area, there is a small asphalt court for playing hockey.
The rink next to the Vuorela school has one asphalt (plexipave) tennis court, three pickleball courts and street basketball courts.
Padel
There is one padel court in the Vuorela sports area (Rinnepolku 1). The padel court is booked through the Julius booking system of the municipality of Siilinjärvi.

To use the booking system, you need to register the first time, when you create a user profile.
You can book one-hour tee times on the course Mon – Sun 7.00 – 22.00. The maximum booking time for one group is 2 hours. Slots can be booked 8 days in advance.
The fee for using the padel court is €14 per hour. Payment is made at the time of booking as an online payment.
Pickleball
The Vuorela sports area has three outdoor pickleball courts. The courts are plexipave. Like tennis and padel courts, the courts can be booked through the Julius booking system (see padel courts for instructions). Use of the pickleball courts is free of charge.

Low threshold to try: padel and pickleball equipment can be borrowed from Vuorela library during library opening hours (note also return within opening hours), Vuorela library is open on Mondays 12.00 – 18.00 and Tuesday – Friday 9.00 – 15.00. Vuorela library closed from 1 July to 14 July, including the self-help library. Items must be returned immediately after use, borrowing time = play time. Patrons of the self-access library can also borrow equipment during self-access hours.
Skatepark
The skatepark booking will be made through the Julius online booking calendar. You can book eight (8) days in advance for a fee of €30 per hour. To reserve a slot, you must be registered in the Julius system. After creating a user profile/registration you will be able to book shifts. Payment for the shift is made at the time of booking.
One-hour shifts can be booked Mon – Sun 8:00 – 22:00.

For minors, reservations must be made by an adult guardian. The guardian is responsible for the minor’s shift. The address of the skateboard hall is Oppipojantie 19, Siilinjärvi.
