Wörtti project

Wörtti – Pathways to Equal Inclusion aims to promote the inclusion, functional capacity and adherence to studies of young people and young adults aged 16-29 through multidisciplinary rehabilitation cooperation and youth work in educational institutions, providing coaching and support. The project will also intensify the multidisciplinary work of professionals and the parallel working approach with young people.

We are involved, for example, in supporting the free-time community spirit and inclusion of young people living in the Sakky Toivala dormitory in cooperation with Sakky, in developing and implementing youth work in educational institutions at Siilinjärvi upper secondary school and Sakky’s Toivala campus (grouping, supporting attachment to studies, walking to educational institutions, small group activities for students). We are also involved in the development of multidisciplinary work in the region from a youth work perspective.

The project will be implemented as a group project for the period 1.4.2024-31.12.2026.The main implementer of the project is the North Savo Welfare Region, the sub-implementers are the City of Kuopio, the Municipality of Siilinjärvi and the Savo Education Consortium. The project is funded by the European Social Fund plus (ESF+).
