Employers

The employment services also work with businesses. Employment experts are happy to visit companies to discuss how the employment services can be useful, for example in recruitment.

To hire a worker, the employer may be eligible for a wage subsidy, depending on the budget. For more information on wage subsidies, see the Labour Market Monitor page.

Employers’ services in the reform

The labour market marketplace will remain an electronic channel and a meeting point between job and jobseeker. Employers will continue to receive support in finding employees, recruitment, change situations, training and business growth. The TyöNavigaator can be contacted for all matters related to employment services, more information can be found herehttps://www.tyonavigaattori.fi/etusivu/tyonantajalle/

Changes to the labour market indicator 26.5.2025

All e-government transactions for businesses and employers are handled by the Job Marketplace https://tyomarkkinatori.fi/tyonantajat-ja-yrittajat. You can contact the employment services in your area and register a job, a demonstration site, a place for wage subsidies or a work experience placement in the Enterprise Portal. You can also browse through the published job profiles to find suitable candidates. It is also possible to draw up a business plan on the Job Marketplace.

To log in to the Job Marketplace, you need Suomi.fi credentials. If you are unable to create a Suomi.fi account, the Finnish Business Advisory Service offers support to entrepreneurs and employers in using the Työmarkkinator and its electronic services, such as credentials and submitting a job application.
