Self-disposal of waste

According to the waste management regulations, small-scale self-treatment of waste is possible by composting bio-waste. Clean and untreated wood waste can be used to heat the property. Concrete and brick waste from housing can be used on a small scale for earthworks.

Properly treated sewage sludge from housing can be used to fertilise your own fields.

The burning of dry twigs and branches is allowed in open fires outside urban areas.

Burying waste is always prohibited.
