Registry and archives

Documents received by the municipality are registered in the municipal registry. You can ask the registry office about the status of pending and closed cases.

The central archive of the municipality of Siilinjärvi serves as the main archive for the long-term and permanently stored documents of the municipal service areas. The archive provides information on matters dealt with by various administrative bodies and copies of school certificates, for example.

The archival material of associations and organisations is collected in the Siilinjärvi Municipal Local History Archive, which operates under the auspices of the Cultural Department.
