Skatepark
Youth work cooperates with Siilinjärvi Skateboarders (SiRu ry) in organising skateboarding activities. In January 2023, an indoor skate hall was opened in Siilinjärvi at Oppipojantie 19.

The Parkour Academy also operated in the spring of -24 in a skateboard hall. At the moment the activity is on a break, but for more information about the Parkour clubs in Siilinjärvi, please contact Siilinjarvi@parkourakatemia.fi tel. 050 326 0095.
Booking instructions for the skatepark
Skateboard hall reservations are made through the Julius booking calendar. You can book eight (8) days in advance, the fee is 30 € per hour. To reserve a slot, you must be registered in the Julius system. After creating a user profile / registration you will be able to book shifts. Payment for the shift is made at the time of booking.
One-hour shifts can be booked Mon – Sun 8:00 – 22:00.
No half-hour gaps should be left between reservations in order to maximise the use of the hall.
The aim of the change is to increase the use of the hall and offer access to a wider range of people. For minors, reservations must be made by an adult guardian. The guardian will be responsible for the minor’s shift.
