Local sports facilities
One of the aims of the municipality’s sports activities is to provide a wide range of opportunities for physical activity and a stimulating living environment. As a key measure to achieve this goal, several local sports facilities projects have been implemented. In the case of local sports facilities, work has started in the yards/neighbourhoods of primary schools, with the aim of making these yards more physically stimulating. Multi-purpose fields, new play/gym scaffolding, basketball hoops, frisbee golf course, etc. have been built in school playgrounds. Local residents are also welcome in the school playgrounds in the evenings and at weekends.

In many residential areas, local sports facilities include small fields/skating rinks attached to schools or playgrounds. These are maintained by volunteers in the neighbourhood in cooperation with the sports department.
