Employment Week 2026
Siilinjärvi Employment Services will organize Employment Week 9.2.2026 -13.2.2026 and during the week there will be a variety of events for job seekers. As part of Employment Week, the employment services will also visit educational establishments to advise students on how to find a summer job.
Welcome to the Employment Week events! The events are free of charge and open to all. The events are in Finnish, but in CV-workshop and open doors English can be used. Follow the daily announcements in the Siilinjärvi municipality’s social media channels and website, as well as in the events on the Työmarkkinatori’s regional pages – you will keep up to date and find the events that suit you.
Employment Week timetable (in Finnish) and events
Monday 9.2. – CV workshop
The week starts with a CV workshop open to all at 13-15 at Tapaamo (downstairs of the library, access through the backyard).The workshop provides support for updating and clarifying your CV. The tutors are job coaches from the Kickstart to work project.
Wednesday 11.2. – Open doors at TyöNavigaattori
On Wednesday there will be an open house from 13-15 at TyöNavigaattori (Kuiluntie 3).
At the event you can meet employment service specialists and get topical tips on job search, training and building career paths. Coffee and snacks will be served.
Thursday 12.2. – CV workshop for young people
A CV workshop for young people will be held on Thursday from 13-15 at TyöNavigaattori as part of Youth Counselling.
The workshop will give young people the chance to build their CV and get personal guidance on how to start their job search. This workshop will also be facilitated by Kickstart to Work job coaches.
Thursday 12.2. at 17-18 – Supporting motivation and well-being in job search – webinar
The remote lecture is free of charge and open to all interested parties. Duration approximately 60 min, in Finnish. The webinar will be conducted by Linda Öhman, Recruitment Consultant & Career Coach at Rastor Institute. Instructions on how to join the webinar will be added later.
