Sports advice
Exercise advice is inspiring, accessible and free advice to help you make exercise part of your everyday life. With physical activity advice, no one imposes exercise requirements on you, you decide for yourself. A physical activity counsellor walks alongside you, supporting you, talking to you and finding solutions together. Exercise counselling is always individualised, so we work together to find solutions that work for you.
The counselling lasts for a year, during which time we will work together on the importance of exercise in your life. We will also try different forms of exercise and discuss nutrition, sleep issues or other factors that affect your wellbeing. The aim of physical activity counselling is to improve your overall wellbeing.
You will meet the sports adviser face-to-face and contact will be maintained between meetings in a way that suits you. You can also take part in exercise trials or groups for exercise counselling clients, where you can get peer support and exercise in good company, with a good vibe.
Monitoring is part of the physical activity advice. You set a goal for yourself, and together with your physical activity adviser you monitor your progress. You’ll get feedback, discuss and find ways to increase the amount of physical activity in your daily life that are right for you. The service is aimed at people of working age.
