Ahmo sports field (natural grass) 60 x 105 m

The pitches at the Ahmo sports ground are the most popular match venues with service buildings (address: Myllykuja 8)

Tanhula artificial turf 60 x 105 m (Vallantie 19, 70900 Toivala)
Located in Toivala, in front of the Tanhula clubhouse, the field is a match and tournament field with ancillary facilities. The field and the clubhouse are managed by Toivala Urheilijat ry.

Innocum 1 and Innocum 2

In Harjamäe, the Innocum business centre area has two football pitches; Innocum 1 and the training pitch Innocum 2. These can accommodate a total of 5 junior pitches, making it a popular venue for tournaments. The maintenance facilities for the pitches are located in the changing rooms of the Hamula school (15 Harjamäenraitti Street) next to Innocum 1.

There are sandy fields in Kuuslahti, Hamula, Pöljä and Toivala. In addition, 17 other residential areas and schoolyards provide playing fields.

Ice hockey and skating rinks

You can view the ice rinks on a map on the Fluent Outdoors website. Rinks that are in skating condition are shown in blue on the map.

Hockey rinks for recreational and school use are located:

– Ahmo sports area, Sahara, Vuorela, Toivala and Hamula

– In Sahara, a skating ring is frozen around the POP Arena, 335 metres round trip

The following skating rinks serve as local sports facilities:

The schools are located in Sahara, Ahmo, Päivärinne, Hamula, Kehvo, Kasurila, Pöljä, Kuuslahti, Vuorela and Toivala.

The settlement areas are Leppäkaarre, Honkamäki, Pyylampi, Räisälä, Vesijärvi, Harjamäki, Haaparinne and Pikku-Miettilä. Fields in the suburban area: Jännevirta, Kumpunen, Kolmisoppi and Heinämäki.

Maintenance of ice rinks

Maintenance is divided into three priority categories:

– big schools and hockey rinks

– other schools’ skating rinks

– skating areas in built-up areas

In residential areas, village committees + volunteers also carry out the freezing themselves. This valuable help enables local enthusiasts to try their skills earlier.
