Welcome to Siilinjärvi employment services!
In the employment services of Siilinjärvi municipality, we serve both jobseeker and employer customers. You can be in contact with us if you need coaching, for example, in job search, considering training options, entrepreneurship or work ability. Together and through our network, we can find the best solution for your situation. We can also help employers with issues such as recruitment or employment support opportunities.
At the beginning of 2025, TE services were transferred to municipalities and the state employment and economic development offices (TE Offices) were abolished. Employment services are now part of every municipality’s basic services, in the same way as services related to education or urban development, for example.
When applying for a job or employee, you should always log in to Työmarkkinatori Henkilöasiakkaat – Työmarkkinatori (tyomarkkinatori.fi), which acts as a meeting point for jobs and employers. You can find information, services and vacancies related to working life on Työmarkkinatori. When you log on to the Job Marketplace, you can create a job profile or a job advertisement, for example. You will also find a comprehensive guide to help you find what you are looking for.
If you need employment services for the first time, you can always turn to your local authority and we will help and guide you. For more information and guidance on job applications or recruiting workers, contact your local service point or, for example, Työmarkkinator.
What should you do if you become unemployed?
Contact channels
If you become unemployed or are made redundant, register as a jobseeker as soon as possible. You can register as a jobseeker on the Job Market at the Job Market in the Customer Service section under Customer Service – Personal customers – Job Market
On the Job Marketplace, you’ll find vacancies, job search tips and advice on how to get a job. To log in to the Job Marketplace, you need strong authentication (e.g. online banking credentials).
