The role of food control is to monitor and promote the safety, proper quality and composition of food and to prevent and eliminate any adverse health effects arising from food. In addition to food, it controls the manufacture and other handling, storage, transport, sale, serving, other forms of supply and marketing of food. Controls are carried out on primary production, food production plants, wholesalers, warehouses, transport vehicles, shops, kiosks, kitchens and their serving areas, mobile sales and serving areas, etc.
