Youth Council

Siilinjärvi Youth Council, SiNuVa has been a channel for young people to have their say since 2009. The Youth Council aims to make the voices of young people heard, raise issues of young people in Siilinjärvi and provide activities for young people in the community. During the spring of ’25, SiNuVa organised a hygiene passport training for young people and a “What’s in it for you?” survey. During the autumn holiday week, a trip to Helsinki was organised for young people in cooperation with the Youth Office.

• Chairman Kaapo Kiljunen and Vice-Chairman Mariarita Luodes
• The other members of the Board are Milja Hirsjärvi, Jooa Karjula, Jarkko Keinänen, Miko Merivalo, Mikael Salo, Erika Suominen, Teresa Suominen and Aada Huttunen, elected as an alternate member for the autumn term -25.

Next meeting of the Youth Council

At Vuorela Youth Centre on Thursday 18.12. The meeting starts at about 18.30, as soon as the interviews for the candidates for the Youth Council -26 have been held.
