Fishing
If you are aged between 18 and 69 and fish with lures or gear or crabs, you have to pay a fishing fee. An exception is made for fishermen aged 65 or over by 31.12.2023: they are exempt from the fee. A paper fishing card will be issued to those who have paid the annual fee.

The fishing rights of municipalities are determined by the place of residence in the different waters of the subdivisions. The waters of the Siilinjärvi subdivisions are mainly in the Juurusvede and Tavinsalmi fishing areas.
