Tell us about your experience of local authority services: take part in the equality and non-discrimination survey

The Siilinjärvi Municipality’s equality and non-discrimination survey is open until 4 October 2026. You can complete the survey in Finnish, English or Russian.

We would like to hear how equality and non-discrimination are being implemented in the municipality’s services. In the survey, you can share your experiences of, for example, schools, early years education, the library, culturaland sports services, technical services, employment and immigration services, and online services.

The survey examines, amongst other things, access to services, mobility within the premises, customer service, the clarity of information and the ease of use of online services. It also asks whether residents are treated fairly, regardless of their age, background, gender, place of residence or life circumstances.

Every experience helps us to improve our services. Your responses will help us identify where we have succeeded and where we still need to improve. The responses will be used to draw up the municipality’s equality and non-discrimination plan and as research material for a thesis.

Your experience is particularly important. The more people who respond, the more comprehensive a picture we will get of the municipality’s services and the needs of different residents. Positive experiences and practical ideas for improvement are also valuable.

Please describe your experiences in general terms. Please do not include names, personal details or specific health information in your responses. This survey concerns the services provided by Siilinjärvi Municipality itself, not the social and health services organised by the welfare region, such as the health centre.

Please complete the survey by Sunday 4 October 2026 at the latest. Choose the language that suits you best and tell us what sort of local authority serves every resident fairly and equally.

You can also complete the survey using a paper form at libraries in Siilinjärvi. Paper survey forms are available at the libraries, where you can also return your completed form. This means it is possible to take part in the survey even without using online services.
