Public Authorities Board

The Siilinjärvi Municipal Authority Board acts as a construction supervision authority within the meaning of the Construction Act, as a municipal environmental protection authority within the meaning of the Municipal Environmental Protection Administration Act and as a supervisory authority within the meaning of the Act on the Maintenance and Cleanliness of Streets and Certain Public Areas.

as the authority designated by the municipality in accordance with § 132 of the Construction Act, decides on matters relating to water diversion and drainage
decides on matters relating to environmental management within the meaning of Section 142 of the Construction Act
decides on matters concerning a derogation in the construction of a shelter in accordance with Section 75 of the Rescue Act
decides on matters relating to the preservation and termination of preservation of a natural monument on private land under the Nature Conservation Act
decides on matters relating to the tasks assigned to the municipal campsite authority by the Outdoor Recreation Act
decides to derogate from the municipality’s environmental protection regulations.

The representative appointed by the municipal government has the right to attend and speak at the meetings of the committee. In addition, the Chairman of the Municipal Board and the Mayor of the Municipality have the right to attend and speak at meetings of the Board. The representative of the Youth Council in the Authority Board is Jarkko Keinänen (substitute Teresa Suominen). The representative of the Council for the Elderly and Disabled on the Authority Board is Reino Kuopusjärvi (deputy Arja Jolkin).
